Mariano Alejandro Campodónico (born April 5, 1974) is an Argentine professional football striker currently playing for Club Atlético Mitre. He was born on April 5, 1974, in Adrogué.[1]

Career

In 2004, Campodónico, playing for Ferro Carril Oeste scored twice against Sarmiento. Sarmiento's goalkeeper was Campodónico's own brother. Campodónico told reporters that "this was the worst that's happened to me in my football career".[2]

In 2006, Campodónico was sentenced to eight days in prison for making "obscene gestures" at the opposing team during a football game.[3]
