Marica Strazmester

Marica Stražmešter (Serbian Cyrillic: Марица Cтражмештер) (born 28 August 1981 in Kikinda, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a 2-time Serbian Olympic swimmer.

Stražmešter represented FR Yugoslavia at the 2000 Summer Olympics in 100 and 200m backstroke. Eight years later, she represented Serbia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in 100m backstroke.

She has 6 National Records for Serbia in Swimming. She competes in Semifinals at European swimming championships, World championships.

Marica became several times champion of Spain combining her swimming practices with her job as coach. She exerts the vitality and enthusiasm with which she lives all that she undertakes. She still preserves and applies these qualities in all projects and challenges she has ahead. The values of sport excel in her lifestyle, committed and responsible, demanding on herself, hardworking and always willing to continue evolving. She is consistent with the objectives set.

Education:

-BA in Physical Education and Licensed Swim Coach,University of Sport and Physical Education – Novi Sad, Serbia. She dedicated her career to work with swimmers, to teach them how to become professionals and how to achieve their goals, in life and in sport. She graduated on Sports psychology and mental training for swimmers, which gives her chance to pass her experience and achievement to another swimmers.
