Marilyn Goldwater is an American politician from Maryland and a member of the Democratic Party. She is currently serving in her 7th term, her 4th consecutive term, in the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Maryland's District 16 in Montgomery County. She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Health and Government Operations Committee.
Goldwater was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated from the Mount Sinai Hospital School of Nursing in New York City in 1948 as a registered nurse (RN)[1][2][3] before working as an emergency room nurse and hospital administrator. Goldwater has been active on issues relating to health care and women's rights.
