Marina Arismendi
Ana Marina Arismendi Dubinsky (born 30 May 1949, Montevideo) is an Uruguayan senator and current minister of social development in the government of President Tabaré Vázquez.[1] She is also the secretary-general, since 1998, of the Communist Party of Uruguay (PCU), a constituent of the ruling Frente Amplio.
Marina Arismendi is the daughter of Rodney Arismendi (1913–1989), a longtime PCU leader.
