Marinko Rokvić (Serbian Cyrillic: Маринко Роквић) is a Serbian pop-folk singer, popular in former Yugoslavia and to a lesser degree in Bulgaria. He has made over 20 albums and also won the "Zlatni Melos"-award in 1993.
Life
Rokvić was born into an ethnic Serb family in Kolunić, near Bosanski Petrovac, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia (modern-day Bosnia and Herzegovina). At the age of 14 he moved to Belgrade. He studied electrical engineering.[1]
He is married to Slavica who is a nurse, and together they have two sons. One son, Nikola Rokvić, is also a recording artist (and appeared as a contestant in season 3 of Survivor Srbija), the second is Marko Rokvić and he is singer too.[2] He also has a son from one of his previous relationships named Dario. [3]
