Mark Applegarth (10 December 1984) is a professional rugby league footballer, playing at club level for Stanley Rangers, Wakefield Trinity (Heitage #1221), York (twice), Central Queensland Comets and Batley, as a Prop, Second-row, or Loose forward/Lock.[1]

Applegarth was born in Newton Hill, Wakefield. He represented the Great Britain Schoolboys in 2002 against the Australian School Boys. He was released from his contract with York in June 2010 to pursue a career in Australia. After a brief stint with the Temora Dragons in NSW, Applegarth played for the Central Queensland Comets based in Rockhampton in the Queensland Cup competition. For the 2012 season Applegarth has signed for Batley under his former Wakefield Trinity coach John Kear.
