Mark Crutcher

Marcus Hotchkiss Crutcher III (born 1948) is an American pro-life activist and author. He is the founder and president of Life Dynamics Inc. (LDI) and creator of the documentary Maafa 21. He is from Denton, Texas.

Biography

Crutcher was involved in marketing, particularly in the automotive field, before turning to anti-abortion activism in 1987. He developed Life Activist Seminar, a workshop for pro-life activists. He has conducted approximately 140 of these seminars in 31 U.S. states and in Canada, with more than 15,000 people participating.[1]

In founding Life Dynamics, Crutcher said that he wanted to fill gaps left by other pro-life organizations. One shortcoming he noticed was in what he called professional "counter-intelligence or intelligence-gathering". Crutcher's organization focuses its effort on gathering data on abortion-providing facilities and pro-choice organizations.[2]

Activities

Crutcher is credited with pioneering the strategy of recruiting what he called “spies for life” to find information about abortion providers in order to harass them out of business.[3][4] Crucher inspired David Daleiden who was responsible for the “baby parts” investigation of Planned Parenthood.[5] As of December 2015, Crutcher said he is planning to “unleash a whole army of David Daleidens” to spy on abortion providers “in every part of the country.”[6]
