Mark McDonald is an Australian software and app developer. He is the Co-CEO and co-founder of Appster, global software and app development firm in Australia. He was named in the Top 50 Entrepreneurs under 40 in 2013 and his company is less than 4 years old and it has grown into something across the world and 3 continents with over 300 staff members currently.[2][3]

Education

Mark complete a Bachelor of Science/Arts which was started while he was still completing year 12 through select entry enhancement programs.[4] He had a particular interest in biology, immunology, molecular biology and international politics. He attended Monash University in 2011.

Career

Since the age of 15, Mark has had a background in building a tech business. With his friend Josiah Humphrey, he sold SEO software to companies in the US during his early career.[3][5]

At the age of 18, Mark and Josiah decided to invest in renting an office in the Rialto Towers that they couldn’t afford to start the genesis of Appster.[6][7][8][9][10]

Mark is listed on the Top 40 Australian Male Entrepreneurs Under 40[4] and has 300 staff.[11]
