Markus Frind
Markus Frind (born 29 May 1979) is a German internet entrepreneur, and the founder of PlentyofFish (POF), the world's biggest dating website.[1]
Early life
He was born in Donauwörth in Bavaria.
Career
PlentyofFish
Frind founded PlentyofFish in 2003 after teaching himself ASP.NET. He began taking on employees in 2007, and sold the company in 2015 to IAC for $575m in cash. PlentyofFish now has 70 million registered users.
Personal life
His personal wealth is estimated at around $500m.
