Martin Miller (actor, born 1975)

Martin John Miller (born 16 August 1975) is an English actor.

Martin is originally from Oldham and trained at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 2004. Whilst a student at Oxford University (1993-1996), Martin performed with the Oxford University Drama Society, which appeared at the Edinburgh comedy festival. Martin writes and performs his own stand up comedy material, and has acted extensivley on stage since 2004. His theatre credits include: Honeymoon Suite, New Vic Theatre, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Dad's Money, The Pleasance-Edinburgh & London;[1] The Rivals, Theatre Royal Bath and national UK tour;[2] The Bay at Nice, RADA; The Alchemist and A Taste of Honey, Oxford Playhouse.

In 2013 Martin toured the UK in the title role of the Lovesong of Alfred J Hitchcock by New Perspectives, directed by Jack McNamara. The tour's success led to the play headlining the 'Brits off Broadway' festival[3] in New York in April the following year. In September 2014, Miller began playing the role of Dave in the touring production of The Full Monty.[4]

Martin's radio credits include: Clement Doesn't Live Here Anymore, Angel Eye Scotland/BBC Radio 4. Television credits include : Primeval, Impossible Pictures/ITV.
