Mary Jane Adams
Mary Jane Adams (1840–1902) was an Irish poet.
Born in Ireland, Adams - her maiden name may have been Matthews - emigrated to the United States when still a child. Her first husband was a publisher in Brooklyn. Her work was published entirely in the United States, apart from a single volume, which had a shared UK imprint.
