Mary Leela Rao
Mary Leela Rao (Born 1940) is an Indian sprint athlete who participated in the 1956 Summer Olympics. She was the first female Olympic athlete from India.[1]
She could not complete the qualifying race for the 100 meters and was eliminated from further competition.
In the 1958 Asian Games at Tokyo, she won bronze in the 4 × 100 meters relay.
Her best time at the 100 meter sprint was 12.4 seconds, in 1956.
