Mascot Label Group is a 100% independent record company specialized in rock, metal and blues music with the guitar being the red line in everything that Mascot Label Group does. Originally founded in 1989 in The Netherlands, Mascot Label Group has since grown to have offices in Rotterdam (head office), New York City, London, Cologne, Paris, Milan and Stockholm. The company was originally named in 1990 as Mascot Records, but then later renamed to Mascot-Provogue in 1999. As of 2010, they officially branded the label as: Mascot Label Group.

Mascot Label Group is also a label member of the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM).[1]

Labels

Mascot Records primarily issues Metal and Rock albums. The label introduced Volbeat to the world, releasing the band's first three studio albums and the DVD Live: Sold Out. New artists signed to Mascot Records include Black Stone Cherry, Monster Truck, Stoneghost, Counting Days, and Shaman's Harvest.

Provogue Records built the new star in the genre Joe Bonamassa from the ground up in Europe. Playing for 50 people in London in 2007 and selling out the Royal Albert Hall with capacity of approx 5,000 people in 6 minutes in 2009. Besides that he sold well over 1,000,000 albums in Europe and charting the last 8 records in at least 10 countries. In May 2012 Joe Bonamassa latest studio album charted nr 2 in the overall album charts in the UK.

Flying Colors charted in multiple countries including #81 on the US billboard charts and #18 in the indie charts.
