Mató Mi Corazon
Mató Mi Corazon ("Killed My Heart") is the fifth studio album by the Mexican group Los Freddy's. The album was released in 1968.
This album featured a new instrument for the group - the organ - played by Esteban "El Chester" Rodríguez. The first track, "Mató Mi Corazon", was a hit and solidified the addition of Rodríguez, making the band a group of seven members. However, many fans were not aware of the new addition due to the photos on the album. Arturo Cisneros is missing from the front cover photo but it does include Esteban Rodríguez, leading to the belief that the group remained as six members aided by the quality of the photo, which is dark and makes it hard to identify the band members. Furthermore, the photo on the back of the album cover is an older photo of the group with the original six members before Rodríguez joined the band. Nonetheless, the album was a hit and Rodríguez's organ would get the recognition it was due in future albums.
