Mateo Hrvatin (born 15 August 1980 in Rijeka) is a Croatian handballer, who plays as left winger for RK Zamet.

He was selected by the Croatian national team for the 2009 World Men's Handball Championship.

Career

Mateo started playing handball in Rijeka at local club RK Kvarner. After three year at regional level in RK Pećine he got called up by Zamet to play in the First Croatian Handball League where he spent most of his carrer. During his time in Zamet he became a pivital member of the club. In 2008. Mateo was called up to play for the national team by coach Lino Červar and was picked for the 2009 World Championship. In 2009. he moved to Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb for a season and returned to Zamet. Mateo also spent two years in Crikvenica as a player, sports director and part-time manager for a time until august of 2015 when he returned to Zamet.[1]
