Mathieu-Philippe Peybernes (born 21 October 1990 in Toulouse) is a French football player currently playing for Bastia in Ligue 1. He is a France youth international having earned caps with the under-18 and under-19 teams. Peybernes plays as an defender, but can also play in the midfield.
He made his professional debut on 2 May 2010 in a league match against Rennes.[1][2] In the summer of 2014, Peybernes left his first professional club Sochaux for SC Bastia, signing a three-year contract.[3]
