Matt Reaves (born May 31, 1984) is an American actor, producer, journalist and manager. He is best known for playing Joe Johnson in the independent film The Crusader.

Early years

He attended Oak Grove High School (San Jose, California), later receiving an associate degree from American River College.

Career

Reaves wrote, directed, produced and starred in the independent film,The Crusader. In addition to his film work, Reaves also published a number of articles for The Hilltop while attending Howard University, from where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. He also interned for the program, Tell Me More. In addition, his short film, The Diary of a Slumlord was screened at the Short. Sweet. Film Fest in 2013. In addition to his media work, Reaves also worked as a manager in a multi-million dollar grocery store while in Washington, D.C.
