Matteela Films is a Pakistani film production company established by Mazhar Zaidi, a British Pakistani journalist, film producer, director and Farjad Nabi and Meenu Gaur, Pakistan's well known film directors. Matteela has produced a number of documentaries for leading international broadcasters including BBC, ZDF, ARTE and SkeNews. The first feature film under Matteela Films production banner was Zinda Bhaag and subsequently it produced Gardaab directed by Harune Massey and Jeevan Haathi directed by Meenu and Farjad. Matteela has recently signed up with Dawn Media group to co-produce films in the coming years.
