Matthew Janney (born July 23, 1992) is an English rugby player. His position is Centre and he currently plays for Oxford University RFC and the Georgia national team.[1][2] Janney is also part of Varsity winning Oxford Blues team in 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2015. He spent the second year of his studies in the city of Yaroslavl, where he played fly half for the semi-professional rugby club Flagman.[3]
Early life
Janney was born in London. He is of Georgian descent and studies Russian at Oriel College, Oxford.
