Matthias Bermadinger (31 October 1919 – 18 February 1944) was a German Luftwaffe bomber pilot and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross during World War II. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Matthias Bermadinger was killed on 18 February 1944 over Pskov, Russia. He was posthumously promoted to Hauptmann and on 5 April 1944 was simultaneously awarded the Knight's Cross.
