Mattia Vitale (born 1 October 1997) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serie B club Virtus Lanciano.
Club career
A native of Bologna, Vitale joined the youth squads of local club Bologna F.C. 1909, playing as a forward, before moving north to Turin giants Juventus in 2011.[1] He was first included in a matchday squad on 11 January 2015, remaining an unused substitute for their 3–1 Serie A win away to Napoli. He made his professional debut on 11 April against Parma, replacing fellow youngster Kingsley Coman for the final ten minutes of a 0–1 away defeat,[2] becoming Juve's youngest debutant since Nicola Zanini in 1991.[1] On 9 May he played his first match at Juventus Stadium, replacing Roberto Pereyra for the final 15 minutes of a 1–1 draw with Cagliari.
