Maunatlala
Maunatlala is a village in Central District of Botswana at the feet of the Tswapong Hills, near the Lotsane River.
It is located 65 km (40 mi) east of Palapye and 60 km (37 mi) from the border with South Africa. The population was 3,180 in 2001 census.[1] The village is the site of the Lotsane Dam, which started impounding in January 2012 and will supply drinking water as well as water for irrigation in a 250 hectares (620 acres) horticulture operation near Maunatlala.[2]
