Mauricio Antonio Pastrana Tapi, more commonly known as Mauricio Pastrana, (born 20 January 1973 in Montería, Colombia) is a Colombian professional boxer who fights in the super bantamweight division.[1]
Professional career
Pastrana turned professional in October 1991. In his debut at Sincelejo, Colombia, Pastrana defeated fellow debutant Allende Rudino with a knockout in the second round. On January 18, 1997, Córdoba defeated Michael Carbajal in a twelve-round split decision in the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada for the IBF light flyweight title.[1]
Pastrana would go on to take the WBA flyweight title, IBA and IBO super flyweight title and IBA Bantamweight titles.
