Max Amini (Persian: مکس امینی) born in Tucson, Arizona is an Iranian American comedian.[1] He is bilingual in English and Persian.[2] Max Amini was born in Tucson Arizona, to Iranian parents who immigrated to Arizona. He was raised on the West Coast and graduated from UCLA's school of Theater, Film and Television in 2004. Early life and education

His father is an Azerbaijani from Tabriz and his mother is a Persian from Esfahan.[3] Max began his stand-up comedy career in 2002 at the LA Improv. The show was part of a comedy workshop class final and despite his own inhibitions as the "worst kid in class" by the end of his set the audience was thoroughly enthused with the performance they'd just seen. Since then he hasn't stopped. For nine years Max has performed across the globe, expressing his views on family and cultural topics through his spectacular theatrics and energetic humor. He was chosen as one of the finalists for NBC's Diversity Showcase in 2009, and he developed a stand-up comedy tour, named "Exotic Imports" featuring second-generation Americans coming from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Max performs nightly at comedy clubs in Los Angeles, and you can also catch him in the upcoming Ramin Niami film Shirin in Love.
