Max Cater (born 18 September 1997) is an English taekwondo athlete.

Born in London and a former kickboxer, representing England, Cater won the -54kg category in the 2014 Commonwealth Taekwondo Championships in Edinburgh in November 2014.[1] Representing GB Taekwondo, he won the Bosnia Open event in the -54kg category in 2015, finished third in the -58kg category in the Turkish Open in the same year and won the 2015 Swiss Open in the -54kg category beating Mexico's César Rodríguez in the final.[1][2][3][4][5]

In May 2015, Cater competed in the -54kg category at the 2015 World Taekwondo Championships in Russia. He was defeated in the third round by Brazilian Venilton Teixeira.[6]
