Mazaaq Raat (Urdu :مذاق رات ) is a Pakistani comedy television show that airs Monday to Wednesday nights on Dunya TV.[1] Vasay Chaudhry hosts the show, with the Mazaaq Raati team consisting of Amanullah Khan, Sakhawat Naz, Iftikhar Thakur and Mohsin Abbas Haider as DJ.[2] On her visit to Lahore, Pakistan, Indian film actress Swara Bhaskar appeared as a guest on the show in April 2015.

Noman Ejaz left that show due some other works but now Vasay Chaudhry hosts the show. The show is recorded in front of a studio audience at Dunya News headquarters. In August 2013, a pilot show was broadcast to gauge its audience appeal. During the pilot, the cast was introduced as:

When the show was started in series format, some of the characters were modified. Mujahid Abbas and Sardar Kamal appeared on some shows as well. Astrologer Samiah Khan also appeared on some shows, playing the character of Chacha Bashir's fiancée.

in a relatively short span of time, this show has managed to capture the love of audience. it was the most watched show of 2014.

Vasay Chaudhry

After Noman Ijaz left the show, Vasay Chaudhry took over the responsibilities as the host. he aims to keep the show as successful as it was when lead by noman ijaz. vasay is an actor who has worked in many pakistani dramas and a film called Jawani Phir Nahi Aani.

Mohsin Abbas Haider

Mohsin Abbas is popularly known as the DJ of mazaq raat. he is a multi talented artist. he is also a singer, writer, RJ, host, actor and a voice over artist. he presents various parody songs, covers as well as duets in the show. he has worked in a few pakistani comical dramas and a super hit pakistani film called Na Maloom Afraad. his songs beparwah dhola and sapnoon ki maala are also quite popular.
