Meadowvale Road is a former Concession road, now a residential street in Toronto, Ontario. The road is not the same as Meadowvale Boulevard nor Meadowvale, Ontario in Mississauga. Meadowvale Road is the Highway 401 exit for the Toronto Zoo.[1]
Route description
Meadowvale begins at Lawrence Avenue East running north for 1.2 kilometres (0.75 mi) to a dead end at Highway 2 (Ontario) (Kingston Road), then continuing north for 7.5 kilometres (4.7 mi) past Finch Avenue East and then turns east as Plug Hat Road.
A former section of the concession road south of Steeles Avenue was renamed Gordon Murison Lane (named for a descendant of settler/farmer William Murison), but not as a continuation of Meadowvale Road.
