Medovene Point
Medovene Point (Bulgarian: нос Медовене, ‘Nos Medovene’ \'nos 'me-do-ve-ne\) is the ice-covered point on the northeast side of the entrance to Zapalnya Cove on the southeast coast of Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. The point is named after the settlement of Medovene in Northeastern Bulgaria.

Medovene Point is located at 62°57′15.6″S 62°23′47″W / 62.954333°S 62.39639°WCoordinates: 62°57′15.6″S 62°23′47″W / 62.954333°S 62.39639°W, which is 10.34 km southwest of Cape Smith, 6.63 km northeast of Sredets Point and 4 km southeast of Mount Pisgah. Bulgarian mapping in 2009 and 2010.
