Meerut College is a state-funded college in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. The college is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. The college was established in 1892 and has a campus of 100 acres (0.40 km2).[1] It has been declared as one of 13 Colleges with Potential for Excellence in the state by the University Grants Commission.[2]
Academics
The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in science, arts, commerce, education and law in affiliation to Chaudhary Charan Singh University.[3] The college also offers Ph.D courses in the same fields.[4] The college provides a master's degree in journalism and mass communication in affiliation to Chaudhary Charan Singh University.[5] The college also offers an MBA in affiliation to Mahamaya Technical University, Gautam Buddha Nagar.[6][7]
The college is also a study center for Indira Gandhi National Open University offering bachelors, masters and diploma courses.[4]

- Flight Lieutenant Mahabir Prasad Premi - Commissioned as a pilot in the Indian Air Force and son of a great freedom fighter of Meerut Sh. Laxmi Narain Premi was decorated with Vir Chakra by President of India during 1971 India-Pakistan war. He was also awarded with Vayu Sena Medal for his devotion to duty in the year 1985.
