Megalostrata (poet)

Megalostrata was a Spartan poet, beloved by the lyric poet Alcman who describes her as a golden-haired maiden enjoying the gift of the Muses.^[1] Athenaeus reports that Megalostrata attracted lovers because of her conversation.^[1]
