Mahdi Khodabakhshi (Persian: مهدی خدابخشی, born April 21, 1991 in Eslamshahr, Iran) is an Iranian taekwondo practitioner. He has been practicing for more than 15 years. He has beaten Aaron Cook in final in the Manchester Taekwondo Grand Prix and has beaten Damon Sansum thanks to points gap in the World Championships 2015 and won a gold medal. He is currently ranked 1st. Also He won the gold medal in the welterweight division (-80 kg) at the 2015 World Taekwondo Championships in Chelyabinsk and the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon.[1]
