Meiothermus is a genus of Deinococcus–Thermus bacteria.[1] [2]

The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LSPN) [1][2] and the phylogeny is based on 16S rRNA-based LTP release 115 by The All-Species Living Tree Project [3]
