Meireki

Meireki (明暦) was a Japanese era name (年号, nengō,, lit. "year name") after Jōō and before Manji. This period spanned the years from April 1655 to July 1658.[1] The reigning emperor was Go-Sai-tennō (後西院天皇).[2]
