Meizu MX4 Pro, a smartphone, was introduced in October 2014, just less than a month after the release of the Meizu MX4.

The Meizu MX4 Pro is a higher-end brother of the original MX4, in size and specifications.

Notable differences are the 2K+ 5.5 inch display employed on the MX4 Pro over the 1080p 5.3 inch display on the MX4. Surprisingly, the 2K+ screen is more power efficient than the 1080p screen.

Another difference, Meizu has opted for Samsung's Exynos 5 Octa 5430 SoC over the MediaTek offering as found in the MX4 (the Exynos chipset was 20% more efficient than the MediaTek chipset, according to Meizu).

The Meizu MX4 Pro boasts a whopping 3GB RAM over the 2GB RAM of its younger brother.

With all that, the Meizu MX4 Pro is heavier than the Meizu MX4, weighing 158g and 147g respectively.
