Melastrota nigrisquamata is a moth of the Arctiidae family. It was described by Swinhoe in 1901. It is found in Australia,[1] where it has been recorded from Queensland.
The forewings are brown with yellow patches at the apex, on the costa and at the base of the wing.[2]
