Melker Karlsson (born July 18, 1990), nicknamed The Melkman[1] or Melkin, is a Swedish professional ice hockey winger who currently plays for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL).[2] He previously played for Skellefteå AIK of the SHL.[3]

On December 9, 2014, it was announced that Karlsson would make his NHL debut that night in a game against the Edmonton Oilers.[4] Karlsson scored his first NHL goal on December 22, 2014, against Frederik Andersen of the Anaheim Ducks.[5]
