Mendig is a municipality in the district Mayen-Koblenz, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated approximately 6 km north-east of Mayen, and 25 km west of Koblenz.
Mendig is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Mendig.
