Mendo Alão (11th century) was a Portuguese noblemen, Medieval, knight, and Lord da Vila de Bragança.[1]
Biography
Born in the 11th century in Brittany?. Alão, was possibly son of Count Alain de Nantes,[2] grandson of Alan II, Duke of Brittany.[3] Mendo Alão was married an Armenian princess, possibly daughter of a King the dynasty of Vaspurakan.[4] They had two children Fernão Mendes de Bragança, and Ouroana Mendes.[5]
