Montuherkhepeshef was an ancient Egyptian prince of the 20th dynasty, a son of Pharaoh Ramesses III.[1]
It is possible that Montuherkhepeshef was the father of Ramesses IX, based on the name of a son of the latter, Montuherkhepeshef. A lady called King's Mother Takhat was possibly Ramesses's mother and thus Montuherkhepeshef's wife.[2] Montuherkhepeshef is shown in the procession of princes in the Medinet Habu temple of Ramesses III. He is likely to be identical with the Prince Montuherkhepeshef buried in the tomb KV13 in the Valley of the Kings[3]
