Meprolight

Meprolight is an Israeli company, headquartered in Or Akiva, Israel, that develops and manufactures a wide range of optical and electro-optical sights and devices, thermal sights, night vision devices, and a wide range of night sights and tritium and LED illuminated products for security and safety applications, for the military, law enforcement and civilian sectors.

Meprolight’s clients include the Israel Defense Forces and other military forces worldwide, law enforcement agencies, and leading weapons manufacturers in the United States, Singapore, Turkey, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, Belgium, France, Thailand, the Netherlands, Austria, Norway, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Spain. Meprolight is certified to ISO-9001:2008 and to NATO and US military specifications.

History

Meprolight was founded in 1990 and developed its first products to meet the challenges of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Since then, the company has grown and added various product lines, serving a wide variety of military, law enforcement and civilian organizations worldwide. In 2007 Meprolight moved to a new facility. The company has also established a logistics network to better serve its customers in the US.[1]
