Meritxell (Catalan pronunciation: [məɾiˈtʃeʎ], locally: [meɾiˈtʃeʎ]) is a village in Andorra, located in the parish of Canillo in the north of the country near the French border. Our Lady of Meritxell is the patron saint of Andorra.[2]
