Merve Akıl (born July 3, 1996) is a Turkish women's football forward currently playing in the First League for Gazikentspor with jersey number 9.^[1]

She was born and raised in Bamberg, Bavaria, Germany.

Career

Merve Akıl played in her hometown club TSG 05 Bamberg until the end of 2012-13 season before she moved to Turkey.^[2]

She obtained her license in Turkey for Gazikentspor in Gaziantep on September 13, 2013.^[1] After one season in the Turkish Second League, she began to play in the First League with promotion of her club in the 2014–15 season.^[3]
