The Meson build system is a software tool for automating the building (compiling) of software. Meson is open source[2] and cross-platform. Meson supports the C, C++, Fortran, Java, and Rust languages, and has a mechanism for handling dependencies called Wrap. The main goal for Meson is to minimize the amount of time that software developers need to spend configuring their build system.
