Metaboly
Metaboly or euglenoid movement is the ability of certain cells, especially Euglena, to change their shape. It is best illustrated by the following movie. The underlying mechanism is not understood, but is likely to use similar mechanisms as amoeboid movement, whilst being physically different.[1]
