Metalampra italica is a moth of the Oecophoridae family. It is native to Italy, but its range has increased over time and the species has been seen as far north as Devon in Great Britain and later registered in Croatia, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium.
The wingspan is about 12 mm.[1]
The larvae feed in decaying wood, usually Quercus, beneath the bark.
