Miangul Adnan Aurangzeb is an engineer, former member of Parliament and the pretender of the former Swat princely state.[1] He is the eldest son of Miangul Aurangzeb and the eldest grandson of Miangul Jahan Zeb (the last ruler of Swat),.[2]
Education
He graduated from Aitchison College, an elite Pakistani secondary school. He is a professional electrical engineer who studied in the United States at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He has served in the Pakistani parliament as a member of parliament in 2004 till 2008.
Humanitarian service
He and his wife Zenab are currently active in assistance to refugees near Islamabad from Swat.
Career as an electrical engineer
Miangul Adnan Aurangzeb worked towards the construction of the Kohala Dam in Kashmir with a Chinese–Pakistani consortium. The consortium has expressed interest in bidding for the development of windfarms and hydroelectric in the family's former dominion.
