Michael Cash

Michael Anthony King (born March 30, 1985), in Louisville, Kentucky known professionally as Michael Cash,^[1] is an American singer-songwriter, filmmaker, poet and artist best known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the post-grunge band Thirteenth Step,^{[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]} and Altered Addiction.^[9][10][11]

Michael is looked upon by his musical peers as a Syd Barrett, Peter Green, or Roky Erickson type figure due to his mental illness. Michael has obtained a music theory degree as of 2015 at the University of Louisville School of Music.

Michael (2011–2016)

Michael has played off and on throughout the 2000s and 2010s with Thirteenth Step and Altered Addiction. In addition to those bands Michael has performed with Incarnational Sonship,^[12] The Morning Freaks and Groove, Inc.^[13]

Personal life

Michael was engaged to Professional Women's Bowling Association member Ashley Pollard but the two of them split up in early 2006 when he meant his wife.

During the time Michael was split up with his wife before marring her he dated a woman most only know to be Cookie her name is unknown to social media and she is rarely talked other than referred to when Michael was in the darkest days of his drug using.

Michael had an eight-month relationship with a woman named L'Oreal Jeanette Whitlow while living in the Louisville off and on, during this time it was his first attempt at getting sober. But would not be his last time sober he had 3 known publicized relapses while playing with his band Groove, Inc. at a local bar called the Peppermint in South Louisville and at a gig with his band Altered Addiction at the Phoenix Hill Tavern^[14] now closed.

Michael married his church sweet heart Trenita T. Higgins at Highland Baptist Church of Louisville, Kentucky and relocated to the Beechmont, Louisville area were they currently reside today. They have a son together named Malachi Jordan King.
