Fabiano went on to attend Iona College in New Rochelle, NY for two years before finishing his college degree at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT. he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a focus on television and mass media.

Career

Fabiano has long been one of the most visible and influential figures in the entire fantasy sports industry. He spearheaded the cause to putting fantasy sports into the mainstream, taking fantasy content to new and various platforms while setting a fine example for all to follow. Michael joined the fantasy sports industry in 2000 as a member of COMMISSONER.com and CBS SportsLine.com. He went on to become the first fantasy personality ever on one of the four major television networks when he appeared on the CBS SportsLine.com Fantasy Football Show with Gus Johnson and Randy Cross in 2005.

He moved on to the National Football League in 2006, and has become the face of fantasy football for the biggest league in the sports business. That in itself is a major accomplishment in this industry. As a “one-man show” of sorts, Fabiano created and developed an aggressive content plan that included his award-winning column, “Start ‘Em & Sit ‘Em,” along with several other popular columns on NFL.com.

The NFL has since expanded and built its fantasy team around Fabiano, who stars and is the lead analyst for the NFL Network’s very own fantasy show, NFL Fantasy LIVE. Before joining the NFL, such a show focusing solely on fantasy sports didn’t exist. He is also a regular guest on NFL Network programs such as NFL Total Access, NFL AM and Around the NFL, not to mention other NFL event specials.

Fabiano has also helped to put fantasy sports into the spotlight by creating leagues that have included both past NFL greats such as Dan Marino and LaDainian Tomlinson, and celebrities like Bobby Flay and the Bella Twins. The results and standings of these leagues have been shown on both CBS Sports and the NFL Network, which has helped to push the fantasy industry even further into the next level.

In 2012, Fabiano was inducted in the Fantasy Sports Writers Association (FSWA) Hall of Fame for all of his countless accomplishments within the fantasy industry. During his 15-plus years in the business, he has clearly established himself as one of the brightest symbols of how far this industry has truly come.
