Michael Tranzo Hawkes (born April 11, 1977) is a former American football linebacker who played two seasons with the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He played college football at Virginia Tech and attended Nottoway High School in Nottoway County, Virginia.[1] He was also a member of the St. Louis Rams, Scottish Claymores and Dallas Cowboys.
Professional career
Carolina Panthers
Hawkes played in three games for the Carolina Panthers from 2000 to 2001.[1] He was released by the Panthers on October 24, 2001.[2][3]
St. Louis Rams/Scottish Claymores
Hawkes was signed by the St. Louis Rams on January 19, 2002. He was allocated to NFL Europe to play for the Scottish Claymores on February 12, 2002.[2]
Dallas Cowboys
Hawkes signed with the Dallas Cowboys on January 7, 2003. He was released by the Cowboys on August 31, 2003.[2]
