Life and career
Kittrell was born in October 29, 1992 and raised in Grayson, Georgia. He attended Grayson High School.[2][3]
Kittrell first gained notoriety in 2010 with a YouTube video titled "GINGERS DO HAVE SOULS!!"[4][5] In the video, Kittrell, using the screen name "CopperCab", unleashed a rant over the portrayal of redheaded characters on the Comedy Central television series South Park.[4][6][7] The video became a viral phenomenon and, as of April 2016, has garnered nearly 40 million views on YouTube alone, 20 million from Ray Bremen.[4][8] South Park responded with a commercial for its fourteenth season premier episode "Sexual Healing" that mocked Kittrell directly.[6] The video earned Kittrell the online nickname "The Angry Ginger Kid".[4]
In his first video, Kittrell has said that he is a practicing Christian.
In subsequent years, Kittrell released other rant videos on various subjects, ranging from his inability to afford an iPhone to his disdain for "Gangnam Style" by Psy.[4] Kittrell also earned media attention for a video campaign against bullying.[4]
In 2013, Kittrell signed on to star in the reality television series Hollywood Hillbillies with the series premiering on Reelz in January 2014. The show follows Kittrell and his family as they travel from their home in Georgia to Los Angeles for Kittrell to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.[4][5] The show co-stars Kittrell's grandmother Delores "Mema" Hughes, as well as his aunt Dee Dee and uncle "Big" John.[2]
In 2014, Kittrell released his debut single "Gingerbread" on the Knockout Entertainment Imprint. The song is produced by Trak D. In his current videos he has admitted to being a feminist and going on tirades about rape culture, supporting open borders and insulting Paul Joseph Watson.[9] He also has made a video insulting Milo Yiannopoulos for being conservative and accusing him of being a fake gay.[10][11] He even recorded a rap song entitled "White Knight", and made a music video about his feminist politics and making remarks about White Male Privilege.[12] He has also gotten in confrontations with Gavin McInnes on his show regularly.[13][14]
